General Coordinator
Geraldine Zambrana is a journalist, writer, filmmaker, and producer.
She studied film at the Prague Film School after earning a degree in International Relations, with a specialization in Latin America, and a Master’s in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action, focused on project management and migration, from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po).
While working for various NGOs in India, South Africa, and France, she began her career as a documentary filmmaker. Committed to human rights and environmental issues, she has directed and produced feature documentaries, including Incendios, a film about the fires in the Amazon. The documentary received multiple awards for Best Documentary and was selected in 17 international festivals.
She is also the founder of SheNarrates Production, a production company dedicated to creating fiction and documentary films directed by women.
In 2024, she joined the BramaHub network as production assistant for an international documentary project for SKY.
