Ismérie is a multilingual French fixer with solid experience in audiovisual production across the Caribbean region.
Based in the Dominican Republic since 2016, Ismérie Pajot brings her international experience and network to television, film, and advertising productions. As a fixer, interpreter, location scout, and production assistant, she has collaborated with TV5MONDE, Arte, France 5, M6, RFI, Pinewood Dominican Studios, as well as agencies and filmmakers on projects ranging from documentaries to fiction, from reportage to commercials.
A polyglot (French, Spanish, English, Haitian Creole) with a background in arts, literature, journalism, and communications, she has lived and worked in Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, and Chile, and spent several years traveling the world as a tour guide. Adaptable, resourceful, and at ease with people from all walks of life, she knows how to identify compelling stories, scout locations, arrange meetings, secure access, and build the trust that smooths every production.
Whether addressing cultural, historical, touristic, environmental themes, or more sensitive issues along the Dominican-Haitian border, Ismérie tailors her approach to each team and context. Her rigor, creativity, and on-the-ground expertise make her a valuable ally in telling and filming Latin America and the Caribbean from fresh perspectives.
