Monika Barrios, high skills profiles in all kinds of Audiovisual Production, and well known in Columbia for her commitment in Art Production Events.

In Bogotá, as an independent director, she has worked for Women’s Link Worldwide, Plural, Oriéntame, La MOE, and Brújula Comunicaciones. She studied at the University of Aix-en-Provence (France), specializing in the History of Art of the Modern and Contemporary periods, and has participated in organizing several film festivals such as the Festival Tout-Court in Aix-en-Provence, the “Cinémas et Cultures d’Amérique Latine” Festival in Biarritz, and “Cinéma du Réel” in Paris. She has served as General Coordinator of “Ciudad Teatro” since 2008, an event held at Corferias as part of the Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogotá (FITB), where more than 211 performances from various performing arts genres were presented in its latest edition. Deeply involded in the Art Life of Bogota, she has been the founder of Noche en Blanco de Bogota (Whight Night) where hundreds of artist performs inviting some thousands of citizens in a free entrance to an amazing show creating strong social interactions.
